Contract Cities Family,

With an abundance of caution and as a result of Governor Newsom’s Executive Order on March 11, 2020 we have decided to postpone our 2020 L.A. Advocacy Day to a later date to be determined later this summer. Everyone who has already registered will receive a full refund within the next two weeks.

We have also canceled all Contract Cities events through the end of March and will monitor the COVID-19 situation closely to determine if we will extend event cancellations beyond March 31, 2020. At this time, we DO NOT intend to cancel our Annual Municipal Conference in May but will continue to monitor the situation and reassess as the date approaches.

I am sure all of you are just as concerned with the spread of COVID-19 and we ask that any attendees at our future events remain cognizant of the health of other attendees. We kindly ask that you do not attend and Contract Cities events if you do not feel well or are symptomatic. This will help us to minimize spreading COVID-19 and other transmittable diseases at our events. Contract Cities policy is to fully refund registration costs for anyone who cancels due to illness.

It is our responsibility to practice safe precautionary measures. If you are not feeling well, please avoid attending any events. Wash your hands, keep your distance, and be ok with a courteous hello without shaking hands.

We thank all our members for your continued support. Keep an eye out for updates on Contract Cities future events. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us.

Best regards,

Marcel Rodarte

Executive Director
