October 5 – 7, 2018
At the end of summer, many statewide organizations get down to business once again. Often important elections are around the corner and local governments across California begin to think about the future of budgetary and policy planning, as well as ongoing regional legislative initiatives approaching in the coming year. Established many years ago, the Fall Conference is another chance to inform our members about relevant and critical issues facing municipal government, drilling down policy challenges, and work towards finding shared solutions in local government. As always, members will have ample time to get together, network, and share ideas and accomplishments taking place in their own communities.
This year’s program will feature various topics related to contract city services, including contract law enforcement comparisons, homeless strategies, city performance management, modern-day messaging, an update on current legislative advocacy, and the November 2018 ballot.
A tentative program can be found here.
