Sacramento Legislative Tour

Critical to the California Contract Cities Association and its diverse membership is our advocacy efforts. The annual Sacramento Legislative Tour – held over several days in early January to coincide with the start of the new legislative session – affords our members the chance to directly interface with our legislators to share issues impacting our cities and directly hear from the legislative leadership and various state constitutional officers regarding their priorities for the year.

Because of the annual nature of our legislative tour, the California Contract Cities Association is well known in the State Capitol, which acts to strengthen our voice on issues of local and regional concern. If you are an elected or appointed local government official or a proactive member of the business and/or for-profit community, we encourage you to consider attending this critical annual event.

For the 2020 Annual Legislative Tour, we will be having an in-depth look into the legislative process and key briefings on legislation we anticipate will come before the Legislature.
